ART TEACHER

My BA (Hons)Crafts degree was a unique course that allowed me to gain a comprehensive knowledge of Wood, Metal, Textiles and Ceramics. I decided to specialise in Textiles and I learnt a variety of different skills to enable me to communicate my ideas. I have always loved working with fabrics and yarns and I have very fond memories of learning to knit and sew in my primary school.  I enjoy imparting my skills in this area to students of all ages! In addition to teaching and leading Art-Textiles in several schools I have delivered workshops in felt, paper-making and costume design.  I teach a broad range of techniques and processes from  screen printing, block printing, weaving, crochet, knitting, batik and hand and machine embroidery,
